For Interzum 2015, Cologne's international exhibition, architect Egidio Panzera has designed an exhibition pavilion for the company L&S, which manufactures lighting systems for the furniture industry. The concept involves the creation of an “architectural object” projected onto the four sides of the stand with four different geometries. Horizontal and vertical planes chase one another and alternate with a skilful interplay of architectural volumes enclosing a private garden containing plants, projections of natural landscapes and lighting sculptures. Here, hanging planes of light and transparent columns illuminate the space. The products are displayed in areas replicating spaces in the home: the kitchen, living area, bedrooms, and bathroom. The mood envisages an elegant and sophisticated combination of natural and tactile materials, such as wood and concrete, with reflective surfaces like metal, and black and bronze mirrors.
