L&S Showroom
L&S Showroom,
Salgareda, Italy

Villa Margherita is an ancient villa, situated in Salgareda (TV). Surrounded by a park, it has been chosen by the firm L&S, producer of lamps and lighting systems for furniture industry and retail, as prestigious headquarter for showroom and offices. Preserving and highlighting the historical beauty of the expositive location, Architect Egidio Panzera’s project, aim at conceive Villa Margherita in an original way, introducing as characteristic and original element L&S’s products, harmonize inserted in different spaces and enhanced by a new and singular perspective of use. Lighting solutions proposed not only enhance the refined charm of the location but they are also a deep part of it: at times set in innovative false ceiling, at times reflected in surfaces and mirrors that infinitive send back the linear brightness, they make this place the perfect context for an emotional trip in which the visitor is, at the same time, actor and spectator. In this particular case, the use of metal covering make charming the lighting reflections, and the light is, one more time, the centre of everything, widespread or direct, but always extraordinarily capable to convey emotion. With a keen eye on the natural and practice use of the spaces, showroom’s elements are extremely versatile, while the ones of the offices, in particular meeting room, carry out their exchange and welcome function without giving up to be , one more time, a discreet window of the product, never defined to the role of simple accessory. In both cases, the simply expositive function and the one more “institutional” harmoniza coexist, even if they remain faithful to their own original nature, and the presence of video and sound multimedia effects, along the expositive gallery, transform the visit ina really sensorial experience. The study of modular elements custom-made and the use of cahrming materials for the covering of the spaces, strenghten the fragile sodality between “old” and “new”, reinforcing the original charm of the historic residence  and its natural voction to beauty.
