BILLIANI Grapevine wood
BILLIANI Grapevine wood,

The Grapevine table collection has enriched Billiani's production in 2014. The idea behind the project was inspired by grapevines and by a wish to replicate their twisted appearance on the stem-base of the tables. The four identical legs, made up of solid walnut or beechwood with 4x4 cm square sections, have been placed in proximity at the centre and each rotated 90° in succession. This creates a sense of great dynamism – a winding movement that always appears different depending on the viewpoint of the observer. The round and square tops are made from steel, with an antique,   worm-eaten gunmetal finish. This makes an elegant match for the 4 mm solid walnut timber that adorns and circumscribes them. Designed for living areas or for food service in the contract sector, the tables come in three different heights: 37 cm, 54 cm and 72 cm. The bases are also available in lacquered or varnished beechwood, while the tops also come in different coloured laminates bordered with solid wood. The Grapevine collection of dining and coffee tables designed for Billiani has been fleshed out with new monochrome lacquered finishes, enabling solutions with sophisticated aesthetic appeal that meet all the needs of a space. Available in the very latest waxed walnut finish, or in stained
or lacquered beech, Grapevine tables
can be customized in numerous ways.
The geometric and neo-cubist base can have many types of top fitted to make Grapevine tables super elegant, perhaps with a cool vintage look, or perhaps more distinctively versatile with a touch of colour. During the Furniture Fair, the adjustable height version will be presented. This is particularly useful for casual work areas in a contemporary office, for home offices and for waiting areas in large transport hubs.
