The Derridà system springs from a study carried out by the designer to understand modern managers, their rhythms and the ways in which they relate to people and places; the de-structured manager, free of prejudice, and a ‘fluid’ leader.
The consequential denial of the concept whereby systems identify everything and reduce the results to a chart led us to work on vacuums, fractures and distances between primary elements to create shapes that are something else and continuously varying. Inspired by examples of architecture, art and fashion, influenced first of all by neoplasticism and then by deconstructivism, flat surfaces, volumes, lines and materials bring to life deconstructed executive areas, initially disarticulated and then recomposed. A series of modular elements, arranged tangentially and overlapping, generates multi-function areas ideal for today’s managers as they organize their time between meetings with colleagues, free, private moments and sessions in which to concentrate and formulate decisions.

Spatial Morphology 

The modularity of the Derridà system lends itself to planning infinite variations for executive areas. A vertical panel serving as a load-bearing wall is flanked by the horizontal top of a desk and the volumes of storage units. Just a few elements are enough to generate areas with different functions.
